OSR: Inglourious Basterds

One Sentence Review: Inglourious Basterds

(The first of two films in the first Daveorado Blogography Film Festival)

All that hype you heard about Christoph Waltz’s performance as a hilariously sadatic Nazi is best believed in this gloriously entertaining reimagining of WWII-era occupied France.

Rating: Full-Price Ticket for Tarantino fans; Matinee for everyone else

Rating System: Full-Price Ticket, Matinee, Wait For DVD, Late-Night Cable Fodder, I’ve Made Better Films With My Ass Camera

  1. The only reviews I’ve read so far in the British press have been universally slating it but my beloved still wants to see it; he’s a Tarantino fan, though, and while I don’t have strong feelings, I’m not a fan of his work.

  2. Such a good movie! I wasn’t sure what to expect (I don’t think anyone was) and I was totally blown away.

And I’ve never seen Pulp Fiction. I’m a bad movie dork.
